Pagan Ritual (Dance) Party #1 Ostara

This is the first in a series of 4 Pagan Ritual Parties in 2019 (in 3 month intervals), beginning with the Spring Equinox, called Ostara, according to Pagan/Norse tradition. Guests are encouraged to dress in themes related to Vikings, Elves, Dwarves, Wizards, Fairies, Shield Maidens, and the Aesir and Vanir goddesses and gods. Feel free to invite your noble friends!

We will engage in an opening prayer according to Norse tradition, and guests are welcome to offer blessings to our Earth Mother, the Aesir and Vanir, Freyja, Frigga, and Berchta throughout the night at the Ostara Altar.

DJ: TEAFLOW—Music will be both electronic dance music, with ethereal themes, as well as more traditional, old world "Norse" instrumental music, fit for the ancestors, who will dance with us as we welcome in the Spring!

***Elixir's and vegan snacks for sale, by Ish's Brew.

***For those interested, there will be a free raffle for up to 9 (nine) participants in a Tree Planting ceremony, where you yourself will be planted in the ground (for 9, 18, or 27 minutes) up to your knees, watered, blessed, and then a Linden Tree (tree of the Norse goddess Freyja) will be planted in that same spot, carrying forward the love and connection to the Earth Mother from Father Sky (weather dependent...if weather does not permit, raffle winners will be offered another opportunity to participate in this ritual at a later date).
